Unmanifested
Acrylic on canvas · 50 × 60 cm · 2026
Available
There is a state that rarely becomes visible.
The desire to be seen and, at the same time, to disappear. To step closer, and simultaneously hide. To reveal yourself, and remain safely unseen.
In Unmanifested, the image never fully resolves. What appears to be a figure may be a shadow. What seems distant may be standing directly in front of you.
The viewer enters a space where perception becomes a choice. Someone emerging from concealment, or retreating into it? A figure standing before the crowd, or hidden behind it?
The painting does not choose for you. It simply reminds you that the choice exists.
